i never understood why they would test drive a basic speced one!:confused: but looks like it got a good review! stiffer chassis = better vrs when it turns up:D hehe

a great shame they do not use the DSG auto box from the Octavia. It means I won't be in the market for one. Damn, as I had great hopes.

A DSG would suit the car (but maybe not the price!).

I wonder if Skoda might consider a more powerful engine for the estate. It's not really a mini sized car, and arguably could fill the gap between the Fabia hatch and the Octavia that the Roomster doesn't. I think rivals like the 207 and Clio will have more powerful options than the Fabia.
