Fabia vRS coilover query

Featured Replies

Hi all, just looking for some info.

My car's lowered on Eibachs but am looking for a lower stance so want to go for coilies. Just wondering what others are using and rough costs involved. Fitting isn't an issue so just rough parts costs would be handy. I use the car on track occasionally and have a Jabba rear ARB so would this affect any coilover setups?

Any info welcome! :)

TIA

Nick

i have kw coilovers on mine and it is pretty low and stiff. with the rear arb, any lower than your springs, you may have issues.

think the v1's are about 600,the v2's are about 750 the v3's are 995'ish and the cup kit is roughly 1600,just how low do you want to go?

your car looks low enough to me:thumbup:

There are coilovers for all price ranges! Starting at approx £250 for V-maxx etc... going all the way to 1k if you want to! Most people will have KW, Wietec, FK. To get good quality ones you are looking at approx £500-£600. Would do this to mine if was not changing car in 4 months.

Got Evo coilovers on mine bough of club polo. Very pleased with them and cost £300

Obviously I'd prefer to spend as little as poss but I need something up to track use. :)

My car does look fairly low in the pic in my sig but that was 4-ups on the Nurburgring! It's not as low with just me inside...

Would the Evo coilies on Clubpolo be up to track use? Also, I really am happy with the handling on Eibachs with the Jabba ARB, will fitting coilovers upset my current handling setup too much? I understand that the ride will be considerably more harsh but thats a given with coilies really...

Thanks for the replies so far btw.
