On the look out for a right side drive shaft is it a dealer part only? Tried a few local autostores + car breakers and it seems to be a rare part!

Fabia SDI engine code is ASY isn't it? The part number is 6Q0 407 272BE or exchange item 6!0 407 452 AX

before I buy a new shaft..

I had replaced a boot kit on the same side a while back, shortly after this the dreaded cluncking started, a mechanic had a brief look at the shaft while replacing the antiroll bar and confirmed I needed a new shaft...although I was wondering is there a possibility that I have damaged something at the gearbox side or even in the gearbox, the shaft needed a bit of persuation get through the hole at the wheel end during replacement of the boot kit.
