New sat nav

Featured Replies

Hi all

Can anyone tell me if all new order octavia's with aditional sat nav have the new MFD3 Unit, Colombus ithink?, my Vrs:) is on order and i cant be sure.

Thanks

All depends on what country you have ordered it in and exactly when it was ordered.

If in doubt I would recommend you speak to your dealer who can tell you exactly what has been ordered.

You would need to get your dealer to order the correct PR code. As long as it hasn't been on order for too long it is possible to modify the order.

Is the Columbus unit available as a standalone part from Skoda. If so, how much?

It's probably been answered elsewhere but Strongbow is my friend at the moment:dtp:

I have posted the number up previously - you need to ring your dealer.

If your car is build from week 45 and on it is going to have the Columbus system.

Atleast thats what my dutch dealer told me a while ago.

My Elegance Attractive Business is going to have the Columbus and is ordered last week.

But to be really sure about it ask your dealer.

see how much you paid

MFD2 = £1350

MFD3 = £1500

Wow, only £150 difference, I would be p***ed beyond comprehension if I ignorantly ordered the MFD2 and later found out about the MFD3!

Dave.

Thanks all

Spoke to dealer today and all post october orders will have the new Colombus unit £1500 made up of sat nav £1350 and Maxi dot £150 (this is a must have to use the new system).

hmm... interesting... my dealer quoted for maxi-dot twice then...
