I have been pondering for the last few weeks as to what I could replace my Superb 1.9tdi with, bearing it mind the high spec of the Superb and not wanting to downgrade too much.

I've been looking at a new Octavia Elegance estate with the 2.0 tdi engine and DSG, plus the luxury pack (leather etc).

I had an Octavia Elegance estate before the Superb and was very pleased with it.

Can anyone comment on the new Octavia estate in Elegance trim? Would it be a reasonable replacement for the Superb?

I think to get even near equivalent spec you'll need an Octavia L&K tbh.

Farther-in-law had the same thoughts about buying an L&K. He found the ride to firm compared to the Superb.

He is now going to wait till next year for the new Superb to come out.
