Hallo, i didn't have free time for internet. :(

Some news... new rims, new engine... and so on. :)

I had a problem with "old" engine, it was without electric wires, so i bought whole car. :) Skoda Octavia 1.8T, (AGU - with mechanical throttle)

Here's some photos from modification of front part for engine and photos of interior. Engine and silentblocks - Octavia, gearbox - Octavia, shifting - Octavia, steering - Octavia, complete electric and dashboard - Octavia, custom half-axis, custom exhaust (meantime 54mm), cooling radiator - Mondeo Mk1, FMIC - Mondeo mk2... Because i bought new rims with pitch 5x100, so rear brakes was replaced by brakes from Golf VR6 (5x100) and front hubs are custom, brake discs from VR6. maybe calipers from Corrado G60 will be replaced by calipers from Nissan S13 (four-piston capileps)....

hi skury, this project looks awesome.. i do have a few questions to ask though

where you have cut and welded the chassis rails to take the golf/octavia engine and gearbox mounts, you have cut down into the chassis rail.. is this because the engine does not fit under the bonnet? or is it to get the driveshafts to line up better with the hubs?

also you mention audi axles (driveshafts) which audi did they come from? year and engine type?

thanks, tom

Edited by Skury

correct me if im wrong but you cant use the scncro rear diff witht the 02m box as the angle drive ratios dont match, or have i missed something and you have a cunning plan

Boomsly: jj, that's true, but when you use torsen center-diff, 4x4 will go. ;)
