PD160 Intake - We're not the only country being ripped off!

Featured Replies

I've been looking around some German sites to see if I could source the PD160 intake cheaper than here, and apparently they too received the massive increase in cost.

Teil: 6LL 129 621 kostet 19,2 €

Teil: 6LL 129 618 kostet 100,34 €

Works out around £85 :thumbdwn:

Glad to see we haven't been singled out by the stupid price hike - although it does ruin my plans to make loads of money selling cheap European imports on eBay

:eek::eek::eek:

reminds me im waiting for an email back about this from SEAT uk

Makes me wonder.... How much is the original Skoda part? Can 2 of them be bodged :D to make a "twin-take"?

Dont think there will be enough room...

Im thinking of still doing the carbon fibre one, but trying to decide things like shape, style, cost....how i stand if it fecks someones car up etc etc!

Anyone considering the Leon splitter better get in there fast!!

This week £21.00

Next week £??.??

HAHA!

There is always an alternative coming onto the market before xmas...(i wont hijack this thread ill post another when its done!)

Im supprised the strut brace is so cheap too, and the console bushes...they must cotton onto these things....

Remember though, the main reasons why the SEAT item was so popular are that it was cheap, looks OE and works.

Very true...!

The intake was never cheap, not even at £30 - it's only a bit of plastic. I really wish I owned a factory that could knock out replicas - I would be loaded.
