as Skoda phoned me up and offered me a great deal on an 08 Combi Elegance (Mk1). In Colombia I paid in the order of $23,000. That was two years ago for a 2006 model. They have offered me a new 2008 and all I have to pay is about $3000 difference. This seems like a great deal, what do you guys think?

SO, I dropped by the dealership today. Turns out they only have 3 colours to choose from. None that I am keep on - a forest green, a sort of stony grey and a dark red. I might be tempted by the dark red, but I am not sure.

The 08's that are available all have power sunroofs and four power windows - mine has front power windows and no sunroof. So that side is tempting. Everything else is the same.

I guess well see if it passes the litmus (er... wife) test.
