I know there are quite a few of you in the Bolton area so....

Anyone had any dealing with them?? I'm thinking of letting them loose on my Octy vRS.

The dealer I bought the car from (Ridings in Preston) quoted

woodheads are very good... not had mine services at Riding and co since i had hondas 7 yrs ago... they were ok then... not had any dealings with parkside? thought a variable service was about 200?

Yeh, so did I, but as I have the e-mail conversation, including the bit where I asked them to check the price, I figure I can hold them to the price.....

do us a favour use them and post us a review?

Other members of the wifes family have bought vehicles and had them serviced by them and were happy , think the main mechanic is called Stuart ??

If you've never been there it can be a little awkward to find, not your all glass 20th Century Well lit show room, but a small family run affair but if the workmanship is good then thats all that matters.

E-mail me if you need directions etc.

regards

Mark..

I have used Parkside 3 times now and they are ok. Had my first variable service done there cost

Becareful as they have two locations, Skoda site and a Diahatsu site make sure you use the Peabody Street location and not the Lever Street one.

Don't forget any problems PM me, no problems.

Yes, I ended up at the Daihatsu dealer by mistake. However, a helpful sign on the door directs you to the other place :D

They seem like an honest place to deal with. They had my car in to look at the clutch and told me they could find nothing wrong with it. I imagine some places might have tried to rip me off with unnecessary repairs. I cant speak for the quality of workmanship because they didn't do any mechanical work!
