Rebuild Trinax to Columbus

Featured Replies

Hello guys.

I'm lloking for any hints how to rebuild VW Trinax to Skoda Columbus...

Mean chenge backlight LEDs to Green and change Welcome Screen/Logo.

Anybody knew what type of LEDs is in Trinax for button's backlight and how many of them?

Second thing is somehow possibble to change VW screen to anything else ie. some nice stripped girl. No seriously do you thing that when I open Trinax and took HDD out then will be able to connect it with my NB and replace screen with customized (simil. as it is possible on TT GO)?

Thanks in advance .

Or anybody has some spare origo Columbus for nice price ?

The Skoda Columbus is still a Trinax, mine says Trinax on the Maxidot when it starts up.

It'll be a bold move though to spend that sort of money to take it apart and try to flash the firmware.

if Trinax has a HDD could I suggest you take it out and clone it or image it before you start touching the files on it just in case.

I would also suggest that the LED's will be a case of getting the P/Number off one that is on there and then finding the green equivalent part.

Good luck.
