Just managed to get my hands on a VW armrest ipod dock from a Mk5 Golf R32.

Fitted straight in above the cd changer in the boot on my 06' octavia vrs. Just had to disconnect changer and plug in ipod dock. No messing. How happy am i !

Anybody know if it is possible to run both ipod and changer at same time ?

Where's the pics then?!!

If it uses the same socket as the CD changer you won't be able to run both.

However, I think Dension have a connector for their Gateway Links which will allow you to run both.

I've looked at those before, silly expensive price normally aren't they.

will post pics and dont know how much they cost as i got it for nothing. Should imagine they are expensive being VW easy 2 minute job an looks factory fit.
