colour coding side strips

Featured Replies

how much does everyone think it would cost to colour code the side strips and door handles on a red fabia rs

cheers

At a guess , about

Milotec silver door handles are about

Or get Halfords to mix you up the right colour and spray them yourself :D

Chris

Leave it well alone - it'll look pants otherwise.

Yea dont go there. It will look terrible. Stick with the black as its breaks the slab effect, plus the strips will look cack if you have it done and the paint peels/cracks when other doors bounce off them.

I thought about doing this myself but then put it to the back shelf.

Approx

If you really must do this,I agree it'll probably look a bit overpowering, need to break the colour up a bit.Go to Halfords or similar, get tin of spray undercoat suitable for plastic (flexing agent built in) tin of red spray if available,if not get it from main agent, clean thouroughly with panel wipe or similar, grey scotch pad bits to be done, pref after masking off carefully and thouroughly, and away you go! If you have the confidence to diy then total cost approx

Or go the full max power route - remove the door handles, get them filled in and smoothed over... :D

steveredvrs - Steve with the Corrida red vRS - had his car done last summer. See this thread for lots of pics and information on the cost.

Go for the milotec chrome covers, on a red fabia they look the dogs.
