hi everyone i have a strange sound kind of suction hoover sound when i put my foot down and the turbo kicks in does not do it all the time though what could it be? many thanks for any help

Mine has a certain amount of induction noise as you describe if booted hard.

i do have a green filter on but i have only just noticed it to be honest it is like a whirling cherpy sound but as i say only does it now again have noticed it was raining pretty bad the last couple of times it has happened ;-)

Just sounds like the turbo spooling up to me? If so it would only happen when your booting it. Mine does this, i think it sound nice!

Prob noitice it more in the wind and rain as the car had to work harder in them conditions.

Dont think its anything to worry about tho.

Have you had it remapped by the way?

Prob be that then, mine never did it till i got it remapped and then i started getting this whistling noise! prob sound even loader with a uprated airfilter

i have a green filter on mate but in too minds to fit the pd160 i have got cos i need the xmas money he he will keep an eye on her thanks again for your advise
