Hi, the better half has the new Fabia3 1.4Tdi.

When she ordered it, it was already built and in the country.

One of the extras she wanted was the storage box that goes under the passenger seat. At the time we were told that it could be retro fitted but the parts were on back order.

The salesman now thinks that it is not an option. Does any one know better? If it can be done part numbers would be useful.

If it can't be retrofitted what other extra would you suggest as this was part of the negotiated deal?

Looks like there is only one colour listed - Onyx

Listed as a 6Y0 number which is Fabia I so it might be worth having a look at one fitted before you buy -

Left - 6Y0 881 577 A 47H

Right - 6Y0 881 578 A 47H

That's probably Onyx then.

The drawer units do look the same on the new Fabia and Roomster as on the Mk1 Fabia (logical as they are share the same floorpan I believe), so presumably I could fit the underseat fire extinguisher (GCA000001 + GCA700001) to a Mk1 Fabia?

I'm looking into fitting the extinguisher and 600001 bracket. (for an Octy)

Might try it on drivers side if I can
