Can anyone tell me whether front shock absorbers are a universal fit across the Fabia range? ie, is the body diameter/fit in the bearing housing the same?

The reason I ask is that I hope to change the aged originals on my PD100 with something (very mildly) stiffer. I'm concidering simply upgrading to vRS spec if this is possible - I already have a set of std vRS springs at the ready.

AFAIK they are the same at the hub mounting point
