Go easy on me as I don't frequent these forums much

I have a Fabia vRS with a factory-fitted cruise control, which has a small problem. There is a 50:50 chance on engine startup that the cruise control will not engage. Hold - select - nothing! It seems (though only in my opnion) that this manifests itself when it comes to Autumn time i.e. wetter and colder. The only way to gfet it back is to reset my cycling the engine off then on.

I had my dealer look for any faults pertaining to this at the last service; he said there was an error in the ECU and cleared it. So for the past 4 months it's been okay until now.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a known issue?

Not seen it very often. I do fit quite a lot of Fabia Cruise Control and in all that time have only ever had two faulty stalks.
