Hello (and a little advice required)

Featured Replies

Hi, I just bought my first Skoda yesterday. I fell in love with it about 4 months ago, and when the previous owner decided to sell it, i jumped at the chance to buy. It's a late '70s 120 LS, left hand drive. I was just wondering whether it's easy to convert to right hand drive for if i move back to Britain?

Secondly, does anyone have experience in fitting catalytic converters? They're not required by law in Bosnia, but I have to have one if I want to take the car out of the country.

Thanks.

Hello - and welcome to Briskoda.

DaveRapid is probably the best person to speak to - BRISKODA - The Skoda Forum and Community

Might be worth dropping him a PM or email

You'll be fine in the UK with no cat, only required on car built (and fitted as standard) after 1980's something (can't remember the exact date but a '70 car will be fine).

LHD to RHD will be possible but a lot of work, probably not really feasible.

Welcome! :D

Edit: mis read you cat question, sorry ;)

Thanks, been in the garage with it today and last night. Decided to get a cat fitted anyway, to do my bit for the environment ;). Should have it on the road by weds, and will put some pics up then.

Welcome :)

Pics would be nice :)

Welcome :)

Thanks for all the welcomes.

They (the pics) will be up (hopefully) weds.

Just as a teaser, the colour scheme is yellow, a bit of black, and chrome.

As promised, although a little late, I've posted some pics in the 'Other Škoda Models' area of the forum.
