You need to look up under the glove box. There are 2 plastic clips that slid together. Push these together and the panel should pull down with the filter. Hope this helps:)

So its in the glove box unit? there are a few screws that hold the glovebox to the dash, 5 i think. I took these out and the whole glove box and trim comes away.

anyone have trouble with putting the cover back? mine just wont stay on seems really tight. filter is correct, all lined up etc but just seems like for some reason the unit itself is too big or isnt in properly and the cover pushes on but the slide clips wont fit back in place

Is the filter holder the plastic frame been slotted back in the right way round?

yeh, thats what i thought initially so took everything out checked everything and reinstalled it but still no

ill have to try that tomorrow, but it was in fine before i removed it to change the filter

the clip? im pretty sure it does fit only one way, again something ill have to try tomorrow. it doesnt faze me much just concerned that when the filters more 'full' the bits will start to drop into the foot well

yes make sure you have filter in right way the edge that should be at bottom has a sticky out bit cant get clips to fasten if you have it wrong way round
