has anyone tried mkv golf gti alloys on the fabia?

Featured Replies

i am considering getting a set as you can get replicas at a good price, not sure on whether to go for 17s or 18s though.

anyone know if anyone has these on their fabia vrs yet?

p.s these are replicas, so they are 5x100 rather than 5x112 like the real thing.

17's would cause you the least trouble.

wouldn't stop them looking gash though... :)

i really really want some bbs LM replicas.

Adam, there are more important things to look into before getting wheels matey ;) if they are under £300 id suggest getting some 312's with zimmerman discs ;)

I've ordered some :D

where from, what size, and how much?

i already knew you'd ordered some anyway because i was reading the readers rides section of e38 at about 5am this morning

the thing you got to look at with the MKV GTi reps is the finish on them. Because they are such a polished finish with vast flat expanses on the wheel itself they get easily pitted just from general day to day driving and also the laquer peels very easily even if you completely look after the wheels with proper after care products. I should know I ran them for 6 months on my VW Beetle and whilst they looked great on the car the condition after driving every day with them on past lorries etc I got most peeved off about and eventually swapped to a set of black powder coated BBS off the MKIV Goof anniversary.
