Well after much deliberation and after going through Convertibles to people carriers, I decided to come back to good old Skoda:thumbup:

Just ordered a Fabia 3 1.6 Tiptronic in Storm Blue, my username makes sense again, though the youth part is a bit stretched now:O

Will post some pics when it arrives before Xmas:D

Well Had it for a few days now, so as promised, some pictures and a little review

Very Nice car, quiet and comfortable. No squeaks or rattles and everything seems to be nicely screwed together. Loads of legroom in the front and the back, and a nice big boot

Goes well and gearbox is smooth. 5 or 6 people have asked me if it's a diesel, seems to have a very throaty exhaust, but in a good way!

List Price of a 3 1.6 Manual is £11,995 and £12,640 for the tiptronic, which means you pay £645 for the box, but you get the uprated rear brakes and ESP option as standard which is normally £340 and you also get Typre pressure monitoring as standard, another saving of £80. So all together you only really pay £225 for the gearbox
