At the moment Porsche owns 31% of the VW Group and by the end of January will own 51% making it the controlling shareholder.

However, I think other than the obvious joint projects over the years I see looking at the rearends of the Cayenne and Octavia that only their mother could tell them apart!

I noticed this morning that the new Volvo estate (not sure which model, I wasn't that close) looks ALOT like the old Mitsi Galant Estate from the rear...

The Volvo S40 and the Mitsubishi Carisma shared the same platform so there is a link between the two marques.

Liking the Octy numberplate surround. ;)

New Focus looks like a Volvo V40 - another family resemblance.

As to the Octy vs. Cayenne - one looks like a sumo wrestler with a big dose of flatulence.
