i have just had the kw v3 installed and the skoda sump guard. While driving in the UK for about a week i never hit the ground with the sump guard. Coming back to norway I am hitting the ground about daily if I am not careful (blooming norwegian roads ).

This made me think about how low the car really is. I have an octavia tdi 130 pd. How much is the ground clearance on a standard car?? How many mm is the sump guard under the engine?? Substracting the kw v3 drop of 40mm pluss the mm the sump guard is under the engine would give me the current clearance to the ground.

Christian, you need to raise it. 40mm is too much, IMHO, for road use. I would offer to measure mine, but mine is the same setup as yours, so it'd be fairly pointless.

yupp, i rasied it 15 mm yesterday and the situation has improved alot but the sump guard is still very close to the ground..

edited to say; how much have you lowered the car for daily use??
