about 1300 fitted, and they will fit my new clutch free at the same time even tho i won't be buying the clutch from them, who are they?..............awesome gti:thumbup:

No experience of Quaife, but come early next week I will be experiencing peloquin for the first time, although I can't give it any beans for a little while due to bedding in the new clutch at the same time..... :o

By the way, they're all the same kettle of fish.

I had the good opportunity of having a spare six speed to fit the peloquin into - this meant time could be taken to ensure it fitted right first time. Awesome may not have this luxury, so fitting a kit they've fitted before may be better from a hassle p.o.v. The clutch is obviously easy to do at the same time, as the box is off. :)

I will ring him tomorro and get a price. Seems quite a high figure to be fair. Will post up when I have a figure

I have experience with the Quaife ATB as my Focus RS is fitted with one. They are very good, specially on tight corners. You can put your foot down and it pulls you into the corner and stops inside wheel spin. It also stops a lot of torque steer, as in my car with 300bhp, it never squirmed when putting my foot down:D They are worth the money!!

thanks for the info guys, should be fitting when the clutch arrives:D

I've been running the Peloquin one - essentially tyhe same tho' the yanks claim that it's a bit tougher...

Was cheaper than the Quaife but I had to fit it myself, which was fiddly.

Really excellent - transforms the car, the way you can put power down, and floor it in a straight line without "peg-legging"...

You'll love your quaife...

Cheers

The 02Q is for the 6 speed MkV Golf GTi which is the same that is used in the RS Octy MkII but not compatiable with the Fabia. The Fabia is 02M I believe but I guess a similar price?.

Not quaife but I have experience with peloquin atb's as will the person who buys my old mk2 vRS (ssshhhhhhhhhhhh!!! )

I was really impressed in the way it helped the otherwise standard car put it's torque down.

I'd say so. The VAG ones have only just come out so I guess a similar price.

Both are fantastic pieces of engineering and highly regarded but I understand that the Pelloquin is slighly more agressive which suits it more to track cars than road cars but either will improve road holding immensley

The peloquin is a copy of the quaife AFAIK. It's engineered well, some say a tad better (comments in US forums of course!).

With th exchange rate a few months back, it was cheaper for Jase to order a peloquin directly and get his mate Alex to fit it.

It was cheaper for me to order the Peloquin as well...

Perhaps you can get Em to smuggle one in, hidden in her suitcase?
