I'd like to buy (yes, you read that right) Adobe Photoshop CS3. Where is a good place to start looking?

Having a quick look around, most places seem to be selling it for similar prices (and those which are cheaper add delivery onto), so I'd probably be happy to buy it off somewhere like Amazon to buy online, or maybe see if your local PCWorld stock it.

If you're feeling braver, you could always take advantage of the weak dollar and buy direct from the US......

Well first of all, you should become a student lol... its only about £150 for students.... £550 for a "normal" single licence..

just stick photoshop CS3 into shopping sites like Kelkoo etc

how do they check the licenses?

online activation and it ties you to 2 machines that you or your employer own and you use.

e.g. a laptop and a desktop.

It also works a little to well. If you install as we did, person leaves, laptop is rebuilt without being deactivated....tough cheese till you talk to adobe...

except you'd then have a US license (UE) instead of an international license (IE) so you would then possibly have problems trying to register/activate to a UK address, similarly there could be problems if you ever called up Adobe Europe for Tech support.
