Just caught the neighbours, the adults, putting their christmas rubbish boxes on the roof of my car and bonnet. I went out and picked it up off my car and threw it in their garden and they started getting all aggressive. :finger::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

They ended up saying it was a laugh and it didn't do any damage to the car then the next minute they're threatening to put more stuff on.

Seems they have it in for me for some reason. They won't mess around with any of the other 3 cars out there, just mine.

Seriously annoyed. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Idiots! I fail to see how it's a laugh.

Then again I am very protective of my car.

Take piccies, and then call the police.

This is harrassment, and after 3 calls they are legally obliged to intervene.

Personally I would have blown my top by now and would have been locked up.

find some dogs poo, fill the boxes up with it, cover in petrol, stick on front door and light. they wont do it again.

On a serious note did you take some pictures and are you keeping a diary?

no need for anything hi-tech - drill through a wooden clothes-peg (from above the teeth all the way through) and solder two ends of wire passed above and below each separate part. this makes a spring-contact. Tie your clothespeg to a solid object.

Tie nylon fishing line to a lolipop stick & insert into your modded clothes-peg to keep the wires separate.

Use nylon fishing line as a trip-wire. The two ends of the wire coming off the peg can be used to trigger anything you fancy - a water sprinkler pump attached to a non-freezing solution of antifreeze and urine plus some dye may be a good one. pi55 on them, lol

HTH

You do have a lot of time on your hands but I like it!! I have a guinea pig or 2 to try this on, I'll keep you posted with results!

My guess is they'd have done something to my phone if I took pics of them in action. I think they think it's a laugh because they're doing it to *my* car in particular for some reason.

without giving out a full address, where abouts are you located?

The opposite side of York Road A64 to Great Clothes in Leeds (near the City Centre). Anyone who uses the road regularly will know the area.

In that case, are you friendly with any of the local mafia?

Have you considered moving?

I wish I had the money to move :( Unfortunately not friendly with any of the local mafia.

I wonder if I'd be able to get a restraining order put on him?

Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (c. 40)

As said before, if a person is reported to the police 3 times, they have to act on it.It seems like harrassment to me, and what have you got to lose?

Lol, us Briskodians will start getting a rep like the hell's angels.:thumbup:

"You thought they were a mild mannered Skoda driver, you're wrong!!!"

no baseball bats with the brisky crew, out will pop the bonnet release arms from the recent group buy

What a pain :thumbdwn:

Sounds like a Catch-22 to me this - they're targeting you because they know they'll get a reaction.

I'd go along with Mr G's suggestion personally, as tempting as more 'direct' action would be...

They're *not* targetting me because they'll get a reaction. Most recent event they did when they thought I wouldn't see as I had just come back and gone inside the house. This was the first time I have cought them red handed and reprimanded them, and said anything to them about it. IMO they're doing it because they're messed up in the head and it gives them pleasure to mess with it, and maybe they have nothing better to do in the evenings when Jeremy Kyle isn't on and teir kids are in bed.

I suppose if I call the police soon and tell them a couple of days ago the neighbours were messing with my car, I went outside to challenge them, put the rubbish in their garden and was threatened with physical aggression. Suppose that will count as a report, but there'll be no evidence. Perhaps next time (hopefully there won't be one) if I really kick up a fuss and shout some other neighbours will come out and witness, but no doubt they'll side with them idiots.

A meet around you place sounds good :)

Better than petrol + letter box I guess :)

Briskoda Retribution Committee :D

BTTC, the Briskoda ****** ****ting Committee...

Obviously a non contact sport, but accidents do happen just like in touring cars ;)

Perhaps a Briskoda Persuasion committee should be formed - imagine a group of about 10 large Briskodians ringing your doorbell and asking if there are any neighbour problems one needs sorting.....
