Featured Replies

Just got my helix clutch and SMF fitted along with my TT 312's with grooved discs! :D

well impressed!, not really given the brakes a good try due to the weather but bloody hell the clutch doesnt half bite

got it rather cheap too me thinks:P

Helix clutch and Fly delivered from MardiGras motorsport for £830

All fitted to my car including the 312 discs and calipers, rear grooved fabia discs also fitted for £120

so Helix clutch and 312's on car for £950!

What's the SMF like? How does it compare to the DMF?

And where did you get the 312s from?

When I had my Helix clutch & SMF on the Fabia, it would handle the increase of torque from a remap no problem. I had had every confidence in giving it a welly full at low revs (although the fronts tyres didn't thank me for that!!).

It took a few hundred miles to bed in & had a little judder on initial engagement but this went once fully bedded in.

The rattle when in neutral was noticable, but I got used to it.

Yes there is a rattle on idle but for the performance gains i dont really care! just turn the tunes up

the clutch and fly have roughly the same feel to standard ones but the bit is harsher and when changing gears it bites like fook ( i like this aspect though)

Only done 100 miles so as said above needs bedding in

Got my 312's along with my Octy Vrs Spiders off a fellow member for £350 for the lot. me thinks me got a good deal
