KW1's?

Not wanted to spend

Try the spax ones or the Eibach Pro-street / Pro-race kits

I'm not a fan of SPAX kit from previous experience.

I was also under the impression the Eibachs didn't lower the vRS?

I'm going to need a bit of lowering soon... ;)

The Eibachs do lower it. The street one is just height adjustable, the race does combined bump and rebound.

Ouch! At 600 squids he's better going KW1's surely?

Dave, those Eibachs are height & rebound adjustable, same as KW2's ;)

Are they Eibach dampers as well?

Would assume so Adrian..

for coat>

Jon, I think Dave wants a TAXI! :D

Taxi for Mr U!

Where to guvnor? I don't go sarf of the riva though!

:D

I have the KW1's on mine and have no problems.

Ride quality is good even as low as it is and running on 18's as well

How much have you dropped yours by Paul?

I think all the KWs drop by around 40-45mm.

How low is mine well  the backs are all the way down at the moment and the fronts are around half way if a little bit more.

hmm Eibachs are current favourites, but am i right in saying noones tried a set yet?

Jon which Spax kit were you thinking? The RSX kit? here

The Eibach kit says it'll fit all models from the 1.4 to the 1.8T (bar 4x4 models) whereas the SPAX kit is for the 1.8T or 2.0

I'd be tempted to think the SPAX kit has been developed more for the larger/heavier engines and the Eibach kit is perhaps a bit of a compromise, do you think thats a fair comment? Or am i reading too much into that?

Si,

will be gauging interest for the Eibach Pro Race/Street kits very soon.

Just thought I'd throw that at ya. ;)

Liking the sound of that

Any idea on timescale?

Si,

Myself and one of our other esteemed members have been discussing the Eibach kits with Adrian recently. Adrian has promised to look into it in more detail with the possibility of offering a GB if there's enough interest. Timescale will be soonish so if you can hang on for a while I'm sure something will be posted up separately...

Cheers,
