Hello!

I just trader my (crap) BMW for an Octavia 4x4 - great car. I have to admit I was one of those badge snobs until I tried one.

I have maxidot.

Anyone know how I can make the passenger ext. mirror dip when selecting reverse, looked in the manual which indicates its possible to set through maxidot - but there does not seem to be an option, just whether or not I want both or one mirror to adjust when using the adjusting ****.

Help appreciated.

You can only dip the passenger mirror if you have the electric memory driver seat i'm afraid.

I Agree with the above - I have a 4x4 with lots of options (including Maxidot) and thought it did the passenger mirror dip but apparently not unless you have the memory seats which include a memory module (otherwise the mirror doesn't know where to go back to!)

Shame but ho-hum you get used to it

Yep, the seat memory module stores the X-Y coordinates of the mirrors, very handy when the car has been cleaned and the mirrors put out of place, press memory setting 1 and the mirrors are back where they should be.
