I have that ex-Polo (I think) Fabia rear wiper conversion on my car. The blade is starting to get a bit worse for wear, so a replacement is on the cards.

Trouble is I got the whole kit second hand from someone, and I've no idea if the wiper blade is a VW parts only deal, or whether the blades can be sourced elsewhere.

Anyone else with the same kit care to tell me where they got the blades from?

I've got a stock rear wiper, I found it to be a main dealer only part - I tried online, Halfords and an independent parts shop and none of them could help. I also found from other advice on this forum that the rear wiper fits on two ways round, one way it may still be smeary, but if you take it off and rotate 180 degrees and replace and it is much better.

If it's a proper aero and you can pop the end cap off try part number 1k0955429A

It's 700mm of wiper rubber for the altea with a cap

Can't remember the part number for the wiper part, (It comes in three parts - Arm, wiper & cap), But if you ask your local VW dealer for a rear wiper blade for a current golf / polo's rear aero wiper you'll get the right one....... Thats all i did when i went in to get a new blade for mine. Think it was about £5+vat.
