fabia tuning

Featured Replies

i like my skoda sdi,but as many will know it is pretty slow,i was looking at a way of,not making it faster, but improving the the responsiveness of the 0-20+ speed, because that is sluggish on the sdi,i found an item on ebay and was wondering if anyone had seen this before,

Fabia 1.9 SDI 64 Intelligent Diesel Chip ECU Remap on eBay, also Chips, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 10-Jan-08 15:27:45 GMT)

also does anyone know of any other method of improving the responsiveness of an sdi engine?

i know i should sell it and buy a tdi/vrs etc,but honestly i cant afford it,

cheers,patie

Forget about that link. Total rubbish on that engine.

You did sum it up for yourself sadly, "i know i should sell it and buy a tdi/vrs etc,but honestly i cant afford it."

I bet you could probably afford a 90 or a 110 TDI Octavia? With those you get more power to start with, and you can remap them easily to +25% power. :)

sorry i'm all for modding, but somtimes you just have to admit you are flogging a dead horse.

pd130/150 conversion or 1.8t,don't waste money on tuning this engine,it was never meant to be quick,or even average in performance, sorry.

Tho the car can look great, just do a search for stuart hatch, one of the best looking fabia's around and an sdi:thumbup:
