A simple question people, how do you remove the gear ****, on my previous cars, you've just unscrewed the actual ****, but my octavia one deosnt seem to budge, some help please

On my fabia, you need to unscrew the plastic frame (secured down with some clips, and a couple of torx in the ashtray) Then you invert the kn0b in the gaitor and there's some kind of tough one way clip on it. Took me quite some effort to get my kn0b out the gaitor - was not easy at all.
