Servicing

Featured Replies

Can anyone explain to me how the srvicing works?

Bought my car as an ex-display model and it had 1500 on the clock and was 10 weeks old. Had it serviced at 16,000 as displayed on the dash, I am now on 24,000 7 months later and dash is saying service in 500 miles or 560 days. So what do I do now, do I have it serviced or not? It cant want another service as I have only done 8000 since last service. Forgot to say its a 2006 Octavia II 2.0tdi pd 140 with the dsg box.

Check with the dealer what service its set for.

I have run them for over 4 years now and they have all been on the variable service but ive had to go back 4 times as the mechanics had reset the warning to standard service intervals and not variable.
