Anyone gone BT and spares left over?

Featured Replies

Hi all

posting up on behalf of a mate

he has an Octy VRS (01 plate i believe), and has blown the turbo and the mani is also cracked

this is the report from the mechanics at the Skoda dealership, and of course they want an arm and a leg for parts so has asked me for help (unfortunately he has not got access to a PC)

Does anyone know of anyone who has gone Big Turbo and has their K03s and manifold left over and would be looking to sell for a good price?

your help is much appreciated at the moment as of course the car is sitting in the garage awaiting spare parts

engine code is AUG - exactly the same as my 01 Leon Cupra

Thanks

Tony

Wrong turbo as it's a k03 and you need a k03s for the octy vrs.I will check tomorrow as i did have a manifold(but i may have binned it).

I thought the octy vrs had a AUQ engine code, and that the turbo was a k03 with the k03s being a performance upgrade?

KO3s fitted as standard to the Octy vRS

Yea the engine code is AUQ not AUG

thanks for the replies guys, yeah it is the k03s fitted as standard

I understand the engine is identical to the later version of the Leon Cupra as this has the k03s fitted as standard as well

and yes the turbo on ebay is a K03 unfortunately

thanks for the help guys, if you do hear of anything then please let me know:)

One on cupra net at the moment scroll down the for sale section £250 I think.

hi guys, does anyone know if the exhaust manifold from an AGU engine (150ps Audi A3) £30 inc delivery will fit a Skoda VRS?
