Is it normal for the Turbo on the Vrs to be loud? Has quite a loud whistling noise?

How loud is loud?

Mine whistles as it spools up,but it's absolutely bog standard in every way.

its not stupidly loud but still louder than normal diesel car. Its been remapped that could be why.

yeah they are pretty loud when spinning up, you can hear the suction. i love the noise

and mines is standard, a remap wouldnt make a difference to the turbo noise, changing the turbo for a bigger one would though.
