My Sons Car is A 82' Pontiac Firebird Trans-AM, it's got a 5.0V8 (I think) and a 4 Speed auto, I think its somewhere in the region of 300hp and 240 lbs/ft though i cant be sure since there seem to be so many editions and versions. My son wants to know how fast it will go, It does the Quarter mile in 17 secs, We know that, but how fast do u think 0-60 and top speed is, the last 1999 Firebirds, I beleive had a top speed of near 170mph, Any Ideas? it is fibreglass too, but It will have extra weight from all the Knight Rider Parts

Hmmmm, are the tires a real problem, I was told that RWD cars need new rears every 10-15k like the Vauxxy Omega, but why wont the standard tyres go at high speed?, apparantley It was 1982's Most aerodynamic car in the world with a Drag coifficient of 0.31 and can obtain 0.83g grip on a skid pan.

K.I.T.T had a top speed of 300mph, but Unfortunatley my Sons car doesent have Turbo boost, or Rocket Launchers lol, but it does have the full dashboard, the light scanner on the front e.t.c, looks like a real prop, but it was built in 1984 (1982 Generation) so its hardly goind to love being flogged up and down the m1, trying to knock out 7-series as they fly by, lol.
