Does anybody know if I'll get full functionality?

I could only get it to work as diagnostics on the golf but that might have been because of the golf's age...

If you have a registered software licence and the cable is fully compatible I see no reason why not.

You mean you got the software from ebay? no party anywhere in the world is permitted to distribute VAG-COM without our permission and no party on ebay has our permission.

The only parties outside of our website permitted to distribute VAG-COM are our partners who have translated the software into other languages. If you see 3rd party cables that claim to distribute the software with the cable, you can plan on being ripped off.

You can try downloading the software from our website to see if it would make a difference with your fleabay interface. Usually the drivers we supply will not work with the low quality products available through the aftermarket channel.

If you follow Bruce's instructions, download and install the trial version to confirm it will work with your cable and then you can buy a licence only pack from Ross-Tech which IIRC is $99 so about £50.
