Hello and help with my window!

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have a 1.9TDI Fabia Estate which is a good car, apart from all the generic VW/Skoda fabia faults e.g leaky doors, tracking problems, screen washer tubes popping off, etc. The performance and economy (mostly) make up for these niggles though!

Last week the passenger window dropped and now needs to be wedged up; I am assuming that one of the regulator clips has failed. Skoda has advised that I will need a new mechanism costing £75. Is this right as I had hoped to buy the clips separately and fit myself?

Any advise would be gratefully recieved!

Many thanks

Oliver
