Different versions of Nokia N95???

Featured Replies

and if you don't like the new firmware, can you not just put the prod code back and re-download the firmware applicable to that code?

Not sure entirely, but most devices I know only let you upgrade Firmware but not downgrade?

agree with you; you can't downgrade.

What I wasw talking about is that the upgrade utility checks your product code and simply comes back say version 1.xx is the one you need to install. (regadless of what version you already have, it tell you "this is what you need")

But if I put in a EURO2 code and download v15, and then have problems or something, I put the UK code back in and it says you need v10. But I'm on v15 (which doesn't exist for UK) and I don't want it having a barney about it or messing up when Flashing and leaving me with a rather expensive paperweight.

Will check the changelog and see if the upgrade is really worth the hassle or not. Only downside I've seen so far is occasionally it's slow, especially with media. But works fine.

my battery won't charge unless its down to 1 bar. Is this normal? If so its a bit daft as its so easy to get caught out with a low battery.

bloody dodgy charger  - FUBAR-ed with exposed wires  - new one in the post. I hope it'll charge off a USB cable like my V3X did.

Mine doesn't so I don't think yours will :(

You're right, it doesn't. I've dug out my old phone until the charger arrives :(
