No power TDI 90

Featured Replies

For the last three days my TDi has no power untill the turbo has spun up for the first time (time after start up). Then it runs OK.

The car has done 117000 miles with no problems.

I have also have no power for accelerating up hills, it will keep to a set speed but go no faster.

I don't think this is connected but for the last month the temp gauge has been showing a cooler running temp. Not on all trips.

I have a thermostat to change that.

Thanks

MAF, air filter, n75 could all be posibilities.

I find my 110TDi to be better when the outside temp is cooler....

Great, i'll start checking these out tonight.

Thanks

i had a similar problem like yours.

It was the air filter all choked up and the dealer also changed the MAF as a matter of course also (under warranty).

Also Westover Skoda changed a C322 relay?????? apparently it is for the diesel injection system.Didn,t seem any better after but i don,t believe that damn garage on anything they say!!

So Meadens skoda changed the above items after and all is well:thumbup:

Unpluged the MAF sensor at work and drove to a friends place of work.

Car accelerated like normal, it must be at fault.

He pluged his laptop in and we ran the car for 4 miles with the MAf pluged in.

It showed as a fault code.

We then saw on a graph that it was a flat line (dead).

Thanks chaps.........

Skoda want £62.86 for sensor.

Thats cheeper than aftermarket part prices.
