Two more questions - Camber and Temperature

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Two little questions from you.

Can those happy people at my dealer adjust my car so that it doesn't drift to the left. As I'm on the motorway all of the time it's a bit tiresome having to steer straight.

Also....my car seems to take a long time to warm up (perhaps 15-20 mins) and a very long time for the heater to kick out really hot air. Is this normal?

Thanks

they should be able to do a wheel alignment for you

Diesels take longer to get up to operating temp especially when the ambient temp is cold.

the camber can only be adjusted by moving the front subframe , and all you can do is get it even on both sides

nearly all Fabias drift to the left to some degree

But can they align it so that it goes straight? or can they only align it like it's supposed to be (small drift to left apparently)

they should be able to align it so that it is in manufacturers tolerances , with all figures even from side to side , but it will cost , especially if they have to move the subframe about
