Great job - the car (and the background) look stunning!

(Not that I have a soft spot for red Mk1 Octy vRS estates or anything)

What wax did you use - you seem to have achieved a good looking "wet look" finish.

How did I know we'd get 30ft wide pics :)

Nice job.

All the cars round here look like that at the moment

Yeah it's ok I suppose*

*Yes so I'm jealous that you have weather like that which means you can do that sort of job at this time of year without freezing.

Looks great mate, loving the really wet look and reflections on the bonnet

Sounds like you need a bigger screen. Or is it set at really low-res for your old eyes? :D

I didn't use anything fancy.

After cleaning the wheels, vacuuming the inside and cleaning all of the windows, then washing the car I used Ice Polish Liquid Clay Bar to remove the many tar spots I seem to have acquired.

Then after washing that stuff off I used Turtle Wax gloss wax stuff, which I managed to get on some of the black plastic, so I polished the whole car again with Ice Liquid Polish, whichg can go over the black bits !!

My arms ache :D

lovely jubbly... Clubley... ;)

rain here. now - 1.

car covered in salt... :(

That's something I don't miss. They don't salt the roads here at all!

Grrr

Red really really suits.

If you drove it over here in that condition at the moment you'd cause pileups - drivers wanting to look and then being blinded by the reflections.

PS

You want some salt

Looks absolutely stunning Rob, top effort!

Lookin' good Rob

You could have put some tyre dressing on for the photos though! :P

Never happy, some people! :D

I nearly bought some but I thought the wheel cleaner and two types of polish was enough for one shopping trip!!

It's alright, I'll let you off as the rest of it looks so nice :D

Just remember it for the next round of photos, OK? ;)

Steve, you a spray or gel man?...speaking of tyre dressing of course:P:P

Gel, every time :D

Meg's Endurance, applied with a heavy-duty applicator pad. Don't use it all that often to be honest - only on a full detail or for shows really.
