Ok, I finally turned to the dark side... Fabia VRS in black with 26k on the clock (God, my first diesel, can it be true?) has mysteriously made its way onto my driveway this week. Bought on New Year's Eve when a canny dealer called me back to say "what will you pay for it to put the order in before year end?". Jolly nice of him but a bit awkward while travelling on the Dartmouth ferry and enjoying a massive hangover (practicing for 31st you'll understand)!

Seems good so far, taut and lots of grip, just need an excuse to get out and give her a good thraping. Will report the progress no doubt soon.
