Climate Control - cold feet, no heat!

Featured Replies

Hi

On my VRS, I seem to get only cold air and no heat. While this is not an issue in India, our winter mornings are on the cold side. Any pointers where to look would be appreciated!

Could be a faulty v68 motor.

It will tell you the problem if you have your error codes read.

Can you get heat at all ?

No heat, only cold air. Only thing I note is that the external temp sensor overreads by about 5 deg C

Bought a VAG com and got the following:

3 Faults Found:

00603 - Footwell/defroster Flap Positioning Motor (V85)

37-00 - Faulty

01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68)

37-00 - Faulty

01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71)

37-00 - Faulty

I canot beleive all three motors have blown at once. Could there be a wiriing / connector issue or is there a fuse to be checked ?

Try resetting the motors

Flap Motor Reset

08 Heater/A.C

04 Basic settings

Channel 000 (30 Secs)

001 (30 Secs)

002 (30 Secs)

Plugged in my VAG Com but unsure on how to get to the right menu. Can someone point me in the right direction once I reach the HVAC menu please ?
