Hi all, Just bought my first 2004 mk1 Octavia 1.9tdi pd 130 Estate. So trying to sort out a couple of wee problems.

1. The warning buzzer that activates when light left on is not working.. Does anyone know where it is situated please?

2. The central locking on the fob does not lock drivers door.

Any help appreciated.

(1) may have been deactivated using a VAGCom.

Otherwise both might be related to the Convenience Module, which is located in the driver's door. Strip door skin and membrane, clean contacts, and see if that makes a difference.

Also, if it's a dealer sale, ask them to sort it out as a Sale of Goods Act issue.
