Warranty Query - Advice Please

Featured Replies

Nothing to do with Skoda -

My wife has a Peugeot 207 that is nearly 15 months old, she has had it from new.

Over the last few days we have noticed a puddle of water in the passenger footwell, and it appears that it is getting in somewhere through the passenger door seals.

Before I go in all guns blazing at the dealers - do you think this would be covered by warranty?

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

It should be covered

That will be covered, sounds daft your car has not been serviced recently, could be the scuttle panels not been put back right when they have changed the pollen filter.

Davy

Yes.

Defiantly covered

Was a figure of speech "all guns blazing". Not my style, but just wanted to know whether it would be warranty in case they wriggle

Water leaks might not be covered , they aren't after the first year on Fords

check the warranty terms and conditions , it should be with your handbook

Pug covered a leaky sunroof seal after 2 years on a friends car so that is why I said would be covered.

If it wasn't for any reason, then basically they are a bunch of con artists.

Peugot are pretty good when it comes to warranty work I have found.
