I ordered the same part from my local Skoda dealer, There was no gaiter included so the price was a lot less than £67, I cant remember how much I paid but I do know it was a lot less than that and it took me by surprise how cheap it was, so it is possible to just order the trim panel you want form a Stealer!

I was quite sure that for this price it could not be a small plastic molding with a thin rubberised coating, but we both scanned the diagram and it looked like it did not include the gaitor, stick or gearbox. Does anyone else have a part number for one in black?

i have just realized i'm not the only one with this problem . it really makes a beatifull interiors look ugly

Yup I can confirm that Audi had this problem all the way back tot he B5 era.... as Simon knows

Later than intended, took my Superb for its last in-warranty service last week - just 3 days before the warranty ran out. On the list of things to do, along with pollen filter I added drivers interior door handle. Of course it wasn't in stock - but had it fitted today. Under warranty - no charge. No more flaky handle

Must make sure I keep the keys and wifey's finger nails away from it now.
