hello people my car (fabia vrs) is booked into have its cambelt done soon,ive been advised by a friend that i should also get the water pump done at the same time,is this good advice???

if so can anybody tell me the part number of the after market pump i should get,and where to buy this item (im lead to believe that it has a copper/brass part in ,instead of a plastic part)
