Mud Flaps fitted.....

Featured Replies

Finally got the time last weekend to get my cars christmas present fitted. :) Decided in the to opt for the Rallyflapz, and they do a fine job of keeping all the c##p that i can drive through off my car. I like them now.

What do you all think.

Yes I know it needs a wash, and it'll be getting one on saturday prior to the meet in Penrith.

That was the main need of them, to do the job. I decided to go for black so they aren't as obvious, which in the flesh I don't think they are.

Nice one mate, we have flaps on our octy 4x4, gives less spray out the backend for those following, plus your own cars protection. Thoughtful guy.

Yeah, i forgot to add that at least they arent blue! That would be too much... :P

Were they an easy fit? I bought the official front set from the dealer & have to say I have never had an easier set of flaps to fit...but they are pretty ineffective to be honest !!!

I didn't buy the rear cos the parts man said they wouldn't fit, although some on here thought they might...what did they set you back anyway?

By the way, black was definately the way to go, the blue would just be too much...if I get some they will be black too !

Holding off spending any more on the car right now tho'...as I've had more probs with this car in two months, than I had in 4years with the Avensis. It's back to the dealers on Monday to get the 'misting' checked out again, the noisy power steering checked again & the broken back wiper fixed...I think this'll be visit...6 or 7 !!!

although some on here thought they might...!!!

They DO, with a little help.

Yes as GAFF has said they will fit, but I believe they need a little trim or warming with a hair dryer to make a really good fit to the bumper.

The front rallyflapz were really easy to fit as they use the same holes in the arch as the OEM ones. The rears took me a little longer to fit as the instructions could be a little better, just by having one or two more pictures. Once you've got one fitted it is really quite simple. I took some pictures when I fitted mine so could forward you them, if you need some to help you.

I would recommend the Rallyflapz as I think they've been very effective in just the short time I've had them on. I was getting fed up of with the amount that would get stuck to the underneath of the rear bumper. My bro and sis bought them for me for christmas, but IIRC they are £45.99, plus postage. Someone will probably correct me. lol.
