MOT emmisions

Featured Replies

Got my first mot in vrs tommorow morning. Have neglected to give it a good

blast recently, any vrs drivers ever had any emmision test probs. I'll

give it a blast on the way to mot (once warmed up). Had major probs

with a dirty old astra td a couple of years ago, I know its world away

from the PD engine but wandered if any bad experiences had been had on this

or any other issues at first mot. Thanks in advance, fingers crossed.:)

I can't see it being a problem as my golf mk3 tdi went through on a fast pass emissions test with a straight through pipe going onto a stainless back box.

The emissions is just a smoke test rather than emissions so as long as it's not too smokey it should be fine. Mine sailed through with a tuning box on so I doubt you'll have anything to worry about :D

Thought i was worrying too much. I will give it a bloody good blast anyway,

so if you know any cyclists or pedestrians who use the redruth-falmouth road

mid morning friday's, they may want to make alternative arrangements for their

own safety:rofl:
