I have an Octavia 2 and the flashing light on the drivers door has stopped working. It was working when I got the car. The deadlocks are working just the light has stopped. The car isn't remote locking just key. Anybody know what's involved in fixing it or if it's worth fixing?

I had the same problem with my ambiente (with remote locking) This was fixed under warranty. All I can tell you is that the dealer had to remove the door panel to fix the fault. If the car locks OK and the alarm works it's no big deal, but the flashing red light does show that the car is locked.
